Our board of directors intervenes on the two levels needed to manage Resilio: human and technical.
Colette Jourdan Ionescu
President

Colette Jourdan-Ionescu is a full professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a member of the Centre de Recherche et d'intervention sur la réussite scolaire. Director of the Revue québécoise de psychologie for 14 years, author of numerous publications and organizer of international conferences, she has supervised and continues to supervise many graduate students. Recipient of the Prix d'excellence en recherche des Universités du Québec, her work focuses on psychological assessment, evaluation of protective factors and resilience, and intervention on protective factors to promote resilience within an ecosystemic framework.

Eugène Rutembesa
Vice-President (French-speaking)

Graduate from University Saint Denis (Paris 8) in clinical psychology and psychopathology, Dr Eugene Rutembesa is involved in research of trauma and resilience in post genocide Rwanda. He is an active member of the International Association for the Promotion and Dissemination of Research on Resilience (www.resilio-association.com). He was occupied several positions: Head of Department (2001-2004) and Dean of the Faculty of Education (2005-2009); Coordinator of the University Center of Mental Health (2006-2019). Since 2009 to 2018, he was a member and Vice-Chair to the Rwanda National Ethic Committee (RNEC). Currently, he is a member of Institutional Review Board (IRB) within the CMHS and a member of East African Career Development Association (EACDA). From 2020, he has identified as an expert of European Commission in Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). He is Full Professor of clinical psychology and psychopathology within the department of clinical psychology in college of medicine and health sciences (School of Medicine and Pharmacy).

Amrita Deb
Vice-President (English-speaking)

Amrita Deb is an Associate Professor of Psychology in the Department of Liberal Arts at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, India. She is currently serving as the Vice-President of the International Association for the Promotion and Dissemination of Research on Resilience (Resilio). Amrita conducts research in the area of psychological resilience and well-being. She is specifically interested in risk and protective factors that stem from individual, social, and cultural components. Through her work, she attempts to identify the wide range of positive outcomes in the aftermath of adversities such as childhood trauma and mental illness. She enjoys teaching courses on psychological resilience which trace the history and background of resilience research and its applicability in the contemporary world. amrita@la.iith.ac.in

Evelyne Bouteyre
General Secretary

Evelyne Bouteyre-Verdier is Professor of Clinical Psychopathology at Aix-Marseille University (France). She heads the LPCPP Research Unit (Laboratory of Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology and Psychoanalysis). She is in charge of the "Heuristic and Integrative Psychopathologies" research team, the "Resilience, Risks and Vulnerabilities in the Context of Psychiatric and Somatic Disorders" program and co-director of the "Integrative Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology (IPPC)" professional and research master's degree. She is also a clinical psychologist. Since the creation of Resilio, she has been its General Secretary. Her research focuses on resilience, and currently covers child placement and adoption; projective testing; the psychopathology of student life; and traumas linked to terrorist attacks and accidents. Diana Vasile
Assistant General Secretary

Diana Lucia Vasile is the President and founding member of the Institute for Trauma Study and Treatment in Bucharest, Romania and lecturer at the faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest. She holds a doctorate in psychology on family traumas, resilience and posttraumatic growth from the University of Bucharest. Diana Vasile is a member of the International Association for the Promotion and Dissemination of Research on Resilience (Resilio). She is also a senior trauma psychotherapist and trainer and supervisor in psychotherapy, with a solid expertise in trauma psychotherapy. Her work focuses on the developmental traumas, resilience and psychotherapy, combining practice, training and research. diana.vasile@istt.ro, diana.vasile@fpse.unibuc.ro
